Your tasks:
- Measure parts, using precision measuring instruments, in order to determine whether similar parts may be machined to required sizes
- Take inventory of stock
- Place new merchandise on display
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
- Demonstrate equipment to customers and explain functioning of equipment
- Fill customer orders from stock
Your skills:
- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
- Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work
- Managing one's own time and the time of others
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
- Using mathematics to solve problems
- Writing computer programs for various purposes
